A local builder purchased a small older house in the Noosa hinterland and commissioned Phil Quayle to design a renovation. Whilst the original home was run down the site was excellent and with close cooperation between the architect and the builder the renovation designs were created.

The newly renovated house is roughly three times the size of the original and presents with an additional first floor. Large open plan living areas open up via decks to the views and surrounding countryside. Good quality fixtures and fittings are used throughout to showcase the skills of the builder.

This house won the 2008 QMBA Renovation over $375,000.00
